Our boundaries align pretty closely to the boundaries that AWNA has chosen for the neighborhood association. Since the Neighborhood Plan is for all residents (not just AWNA members) and since the map has been approved by City Council, our boundaries are a little more permanent. A map of areas included in the neighborhood plan is available on the City of Raleigh website.
The task force was charged to draft a Neighborhood Plan that will guide City Council on future decisions relevant to our neighborhood. Additionally, to pursue the implementation of a "neighborhood conservation overlay" for the zoning of the AventWest neighborhood.
